"Chaos" were formed at the start of the 2000 season to take part in the various weekend tournaments around the country. We attended Glasgow, Leeds and Edinburgh tournaments in this first year and achieved progressively better results with each event. The team was formed out of those players keen (and/or good?) enough, from 6 of the regular ESL teams, to waste their summer weekends travelling around the British Isles in search of a Softball Tournament to play in, with a view to gaining experience and improving their game.

Apart from wanting to play more softball than the normal once a week during the season, each member of the squad also travelled to each tournament prepared for maximum enjoyment and to drink as much alcohol as possible. A feat which was achieved with great consistency if the size of the team's collective overdrafts are anything to go by.

Chaos now regularly attend the Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol and Manchester tournaments as well Festiball. We had our best season in 2004 winning Glasgow and Bristol before reaching the Final at both Leeds and Manchester. 2005 will see us attend the B Nationals for the third time.
